Details: A conversation between Lila Mularczyk and Geoffrey Sherington

In posing the question 'will Australians rediscover the original ideals...of public education' former High Court Judge Michael Kirby AC has suggested that a 'revival of the optimism of the movement that created Australia's public school system in the first place' is required.

 Join Lila Mularczyk President of the NSW Secondary Principal’s Association and Principal of Merrylands High School and Professor Geoffrey Sherington, former Dean of the University of Sydney Faculty of Education (1997-2003), as they discuss these and other emerging issues in Australia’s education system.
